Revealed: Why Anushka is really angry with Sonakshi

Revealed: Why Anushka is really angry with SonakshiSonakshi Sinha and Anushka Sharma may well be ready to get their claws out to fight over Ranveer Singh

Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Sharma may well be ready to get their claws out to fight over Ranveer Singh. The Band Baaja Baraat girl may insist that her co-star and she are only 'good friends'.

But Anushka looked visibly incensed when she came face-to-face with Sonakshi and her mother Punam yesterday at the Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards in Mumbai.

Reason? Ranveer sat down and chatted with the Sinhas. The vibes between Sonakshi and Ranveer were there for all to see!

Says a source, "The trouble began with a remark Sonakshi made on Koffee With Karan. She had stated that she'd love to work with Ranveer.

The BBB girl's insecurity was driven by the fact that her co-star mentioned on the same talk show that he finds Sonakshi hot. Anushka cattily told host Karan Johar that she could have Ranveer if she wanted."

Recommendations

It didn't end there. "The Dabangg girl and the BBB boy met at a film industry event a month ago. Both are young, single and eligible and appeared to be getting on like a house on fire.

Shatrughan Sinha's daughter has been praising Ranveer when around friends and directors.

In fact she even started recommending the young actor to her producer friends and hinting that they would make a great pair if cast together.

Anushka didn't take it kindly and has started talking against Shotgun's beti to filmi friends every chance she got."

When quizzed about being upset with Sonakshi because she's been asking directors to cast Ranveer in their films opposite Sonakshi, Anushka says coldly, "I don't like to or encourage my friends to talk about other actors male or female.

I am here in the industry to do my best (work) and mind my own business and expect the same from others.

Work comes first

Isn't she upset about Sonakshi's growing fondness for Ranveer?

"I am leaving for a 40-day schedule for my next and would like to concentrate on just that.

I have respect for all young achievers and co-actors and don't want to be part of these kind of rumours. Please keep me away from this."

A source close to Sonakshi says, "Sonakshi has no clue that Anushka is upset with her or talking against her to her friends.

In KWK, Sona had told Karan that from the younger lot one person she would love to work with is Ranveer as she loved Band Baaja Baaraat.

Her two favourite stars, however, are Hrithik and Salman."

Sinha's spokesperson maintains, "Sonakshi has never pitched any actors to any directors; she doesn't need to and knows better. The rest is hearsay. Sonakshi shares a healthy, cordial rapport with Anushka and these stories won't affect that."

Age matters between the legs: Amar Singh to 'Bipasha Basu'

Age matters between the legs: Amar Singh to 'Bipasha Basu'

Age matters between the legs: Amar Singh to `Bipasha Basu`Five year old sordid Amar Singh tapes are back to haunt Bipasha Basu. The CDs, which allegedly contain conversations between Singh and several Bollywood personalities, were received by several media houses and made quite a stir.

The apex court has now lifted a gag order on contents of the recorded CD.

Bipasha took strong exception to the tapes and commented, "I am totally shocked at the slanderous charges. It was nothing short of outrageous that the alleged conversation has been attributed to me. I had never had a telephonic conversation with Mr. Amar Singh and the report is totally malicious."

“Pls request u all to go n hear d conversation 1st n then if u still think its me, I openly challenge anyone to prove it is me,” she tweeted.

The conversation between the politician and the actress is clearly explicit with Amar Singh mentioning that ‘age matters between the legs’ in reply to Bipasha’s comment on his age.

Excerpts of the conversation:

Amar: Hello.

Bipasha: (Sings)...Haallloooo...

Amar: Hello...

Bipasha: (Sings) Hi...how are you...?

Amar: (Happily) I am fine.

Bipasha: How've you been? We are talking after a long time right?

Amar: Yes...

Bipasha: You've been busy or something?

Amar: Kaun...bip..

Bipasha: Bipasha...Bipasha...ya...I saw you twice at that award function...ha ha ha

Amar: Really?

Bipasha: So tell me...when are you meeting me?

Amar: Where do you want to meet baby? I have been very busy.

Bipasha: You busy?

Amar: It is very tough.

Bipasha: It is very tough...ha ha ha...OK.

Amar: But I will make some time.

Bipasha: OK sweetie...

Amar: Very nice of you to have remembered me.

Bipasha: (Laughs) I toh always remember you.

Amar: An old man like me.

Bipasha: Sorry...?

Amar: An old fossil like me...

Bipasha: Old fossil like you...

Amar: ya ya...

Bipasha: I don't think age really matters... Does it?

Amar: It matters between the legs na?

Bipasha: (Bursts out laughing) Oh God...ha ha ha ha...all right then...you try removing time now... it's been almost a month now I've not met...

Amar: Ya we will meet.

Bipasha: OK... Right, keep in touch. Bye...

Shocking: Did Ragini MMS couple go 'all the way' to make love-making look real?

Shocking: Did Ragini MMS couple go `all the way` to make love-making look real?By Subhash K Jha

It is whispered that in the quest to give Ragini MMS a feeling of a real-life in-the-bedroom feeling the film made the screen pair Raj Kumar Yadav and Kainaz Motivala go ‘all the way’. Shocking? But not unheard-of.

In the quest of realism it isn’t unknown for actors to actually perform the love-making act on screen rather than faking it. In the West films like Caligula, Cruising, Devil In The Flesh and the controversial British film 9 Songs, had actors involved in authentic hardcore love-making sequences.

However this phenomenon has so far been unknown in Hindi films. In the endeavour to bridge the gap between documentary and cinema and to give the bedroom proceedings a feeling of on-camera voyeurism Ragini MMS has apparently filmed bonafide love -making scenes between the couple.

When contacted the film’s leading man Raj Kumar Yadav who earlier participated in the stark copulatory footage of a couple making out on a video camera in Dibakar Bannerjee’s Love Sex Aur Dokha, doesn’t deny the couple may have gone further than films and fantasy have so far permitted.

Says Yadav, “How far have we gone in the love-making scene? That I can’t tell you

. But I’ll say this. We haven’t made a porn film. I don’t know if the love-making in Ragini MMS has gone further than any other Hindi film. But yeah, the film gives you a feeling of peeping into a couple’s bedroom. There are some intimate scenes.

They’re very much a part of the script and essential to the plot. But our film is not only about these scenes. ”

However we know better. Ragini MMS is not your ordinary cuddle-and-kiss simulated-sex product. There’s much more here than meets the sigh.

Yadav and his co-star Motivala were put through intense “intimacy acclimatization” workshops where the pair …well, decided, in the words of the film’s uncouth protagonist, “rock under the frock. ”

Yadav of course tries to play down the love-making practice. “They weren’t exactly love-making rehearsals. But Kainaz and I did a lot of discussions. By the time we started shooting we shared a comfort level. It would’ve certainly been tough doing those scenes if we were strangers. ”

The film also has Yadav speaking the strongest most lurid kind of language heard in a Hindi film. Says Yadav, “I don’t use such language in real life. But I’ve friends on Delhi who do. ”

Pink Chaddi campaign goes reel, turns into Pink Bra campaign!

Pink Chaddi campaign goes reel, turns into Pink Bra campaign!

Pink Chaddi campaign goes reel, turns into Pink Bra campaign!Real-life movement against moral policing on women by Sri Ram Sena finds place in a movie

The pink chaddi campaign, started by four young girls back in February 2009, against the moral policing on Indian women by the Shri Ram Sena has now found a place in a Bollywood production.

Pink bra campaign

Vivek Agnihotri's film Buddha In A Traffic Jam has incorporated the real-life movement in the film. The Goal and Chocolate director's next project deals with issues that affect the youth.

Says a source, "They have done the research and taken inputs from the girls who started the campaign as well as those who were involved in the incident. In the film, they will tag it as pink bra campaign."

Explains Agnihotri, "Buddha In A Traffic Jam is about the socio-political system and its nexus. It is inspired from real life incidents. I travelled all across the hinterland and realised that corruption and moral policing have victimised and terrorised the common man more than terrorism has."

Time to act

He adds, "My film deals with real-life issues that have affected the youth of the country and it shows the creative ways to deal with them.

I am fully aware of the threats and consequences but I believe that evil prevails when good men don't act. I think I am at a point in life when I must act."

The film stars Arunoday Singh, Mahi Gill, Viveck Vaswani and Pallavi Joshi and has been shot at the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad.

What was the pink chaddi campaign?

The pink chaddi campaign was launched in February 2009 in response to violent activism against perceived violations of Indian culture.

It was in protest against a threat by Pramod Muthalik of the Sri Ram Sena, an orthodox Hindu group. On February 6, 2009 a group of men belonging to the Shri Ram Sena attacked some women in a Mangalore pub.

Later, Muthalik announced an action plan to target couples found together on February 14 (Valentine's Day) and get them married.

Four young women (Nisha Susan, Jasmine Patheja, Mihira Sood and Isha Manchanda) urged a Gandhi-like peaceful protest by sending pink underwear to Muthalik's office.

Later, people from all over the country and world sent chaddis to the Shri Ram Sena office.
